A good friend of mine, James (a.k.a. Death Lynx) helped me find my Pagan name tonight! The name I chose a while back just DID NOT fit me. There was no recognition in me with that particular name. I had apparently just been trying too hard to find a name and just settled with one I liked and represented me to a point. Not good enough...We happened to get on the topic of magickal names and I mentioned that mine was not right. I wanted a name to reflect the writer in me and also to represent my spirit guide (he's a black wolf). James thought of "Shadowquill" and I immediately adored it for a surname! Then all I needed was a first name. We started thinking of a name with "wolfish" qualities to suit my guide and myself. I finally thought of the Gaelic name "Faolan" (pronounced 'FAY-lawn'), meaning "little wolf". It's typically a boy's name but my zodiac (Aries) and spirit guide are both masculine, so why not? At last I have my name! As soon as it was put together, I KNEW it was right. I felt so excited and my hands were shaking! I felt as if I were about to come out of my skin! And so now I have three names: Mundane - Amanda, Pseudonym (Pen Name) - Jae Knight, and Pagan - Faolan Shadowquill. Blessed Be!
Yours in Words,
Faolan Shadowquill

Cool name. The picture of the Black Wolf is awsome!
